He has over 15 years\u2019 experience as a Private Client Solicitor working for firms in Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, and London.<\/p>\n<h3>Key experience<\/h3>\n<p>Usman\u2019s expertise includes the preparation of Wills (both straightforward and complex), estate and Inheritance tax planning, trusts (including personal injury trusts), probate and estate administration, deeds of variation, and lasting powers of attorney.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Acted on behalf of executors in estates to maximise tax allowances, such as business relief or the residence nil rate band, and minimise the tax owed by the estate<\/li>\n<li>Advised on and helped executors successfully claim exemption on substantial lifetime gifts<\/li>\n<li>Advised on the effective use of deeds of variation to mitigate IHT liabilities for estates or individuals<\/li>\n<li>Usman aims to provide clear and concise advice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Usman is married with a young family and loves sport (mainly spectating!)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Usman is the Head of BWK\u2019s Private Client department.
