Lucy qualified as a Solicitor in 2011 and works in our Private Client Department.
Specialising in wills, trusts and estate planning, probate and estate administration, power of attorney and Court of Protection work, she has very sound knowledge in advising clients on all aspects of these areas of law Lucy offers legal assistance at what can often be a difficult time for clients, providing an understanding and personable approach along with a high level of client care.
Understanding that clients cannot always attend our offices, Lucy is more than happy to make visits to clients in their homes, in hospitals or in hospices.
Lucy studied at Bournemouth University and the College of Law in Chester. Since qualifying she has practised in and around Buckinghamshire, building up relationships with local clients while gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience in all areas of Private Client work.
- Wills and estate planning – Lucy takes instructions for both wills and codicils. With a strong understanding of different trust arrangements for the protection of assets and estate planning, Lucy is keen to advise clients on the best structure for both their financial and personal circumstances.
- Power of attorney – Lucy assists clients in all services relating to lasting powers of attorney (LPAs) (both Property & Financial and Health & Welfare) and the registration of enduring powers of attorney (EPAs).
- Probate and estate administration – an experienced probate solicitor, Lucy has knowledge of all aspects of the estate administration process. She advises on both taxable and non-taxable estates, completing and submitting inheritance tax accounts, preparing estate accounts and obtaining the Grant of Probate or Grant of Letters of Administration on intestacy. Lucy also advises on and prepares deeds of variation.
